Description
Abstract: In this poster presentation we describe DeCART (Data, exploration, Computation, and Analytics Real-world Training), an interdisciplinary short-term training program for biomedical data science funded by the NIH and supported by multiple departments and organizations within the University of Utah. DeCART aims to provide foundational skills for students and researchers moving towards data-centric research programs and careers. We describe our curriculum design and experience with two years of running the program.
