Books for Big Thinking: What Should Informatics Students Be Reading?

1:16 PM–1:24 PM Jun 20, 2018 (US - Central)

Crescent AB, 16th Floor

Description

Abstract: Thinking big and being creative requires breaking out of the narrow constraints of specialization. In this presentation I will share some of the books, short stories, and articles that professors, peers, and happenstance have passed onto me that I have found beneficial in helping me think big and that I would like to pass on to my students and colleagues.
