Description

Abstract: Nursing Informatics is a new and evolving field. Due to the complexity of the profession, students are limited in their clinical experience to the current practices of their clinical site. This paper examines the benefits and drawbacks of actively incorporating a partnered healthcare organization’s quality improvement data into the course curriculum in order to create a mutually beneficial educational experience.
